As part of AMIA’s ongoing COVID-19 Webinar Series, and in partnership with PATH’s Digital Square initiative, we turn to the parts of the global health community outside the initial epicenters of Europe, East Asia, and the United States. During this presentation, we will hear from health informatics leaders in Uganda, Kenya, and the National Republic of Congo who will discuss unique challenges and opportunities facing their countries, as they seek to contain, mitigate, and suppress COVID-19. We will also hear from an AMIA member expert who has developed a framework to help countries around the globe leverage research, policy, and practice in tandem as they fight this global pandemic.
