November 4, 2023 – In recognition of securing a grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and RTI International, Drs. Joshi (Dean, University of Memphis School of Public Health), Jia (Professor of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Environmental Health) and Titu (Assistant Professor of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Environmental Health) were recognized by President Hardgrave with the Tigers Ascending to Excellence Award. They were also invited to serve as the honorary coach of the football game on Saturday, November 4 when the Tigers took on the University of South Florida at the Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium.
